Our commitments

In order to respond to current environmental and societal challenges as well as to its guest and team expectations, Sofitel Paris Arc de Triomphe is committed in developing virtuous practices in favor of a more sustainable and united approach.

To date, concrete actions were achieved within our property such as:

Removing all single-use plastic from our rooms and outlets.

Managing digitally food waste for reduction and proper adjustment of production and reduction.
Collecting food waste to produce biogas and natural agricultural-grade fertilizers.
Cooking waste vegetables to reduc food waste.

Controlled water, electricity and heating management:

Led lightings, adjustment of the temperatures according to seasons and outlets’ occupancy, possibility for our guests of reusing bath towels and sheets to limit water consumption.

Developing inclusion and diversity:

Onboarding collaborators with disabilities or in the process of reintegration through associations such as “des Etoiles et des Femmes”…
Social initiatives for our collaborators (well-being activities, lunch around a fresh seasonal product in the hotel cafeteria…),
Gender equity: the 2024 professional equality index for the Hotel Sofitel Paris Arc de Triomphe for the year 2023 is 85 out of 100.

Innovating solutions remain to be defined, numerous projects to be achieved. Thus, our team has been mobilized on a daily basis in meeting future challenges to provide value to our customers and collaborators.
