Sustainability
In order to respond to current environmental and societal challenges as well as to its guest and team expectations, Sofitel Paris Arc de Triomphe is committed in developing virtuous practices in favor of a more sustainable and united approach.
To date, concrete actions were achieved within our property such as:
- Removing all single-use plastic from our rooms and outlets.
- Raising awareness among our guests about eco-friendly practices, such as not systematically changing bed sheets and towels, and providing certain complementary items upon request.
- Managing digitally food waste for reduction and proper adjustment of production and reduction.
- Collecting food waste to produce biogas and natural agricultural-grade fertilizers.
- Controlled energy management: installation of water-saving devices and pressure reducers on taps and showers, led lighting, temperature adjustements based on the seasons…
- Social responsibility: onboarding collaborators with disabilities or in the process of reintegration through associations such as “des Etoiles et des Femmes”, social initiatives for our collaborators (well-being activities, lunch around a fresh seasonal product, external speakers on health-related topics, participation in charity events such as Pink October).
Our teams remain mobilized on a daily basis in meeting future challenges to provide value to our customers and collaborators.
